PUBLIC NOTICE UPDATE JUNE 16TH, 2026 EMERGENCY RESTRICTIONS UPDATE AS OF 11:30 P.M.
PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT THERE IS AN EMERGENCY RESTRICTION DUE TO MECHANICAL FAILURE IN THE WATER SYSTEM
• It is anticipated that water supply in the red highlighted area maybe fully depleted by the morning of Wednesday, June 17, 2026.
• Effective at midnight (12:00 a.m.) on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, residents in the red highlighted area are advised to boil water intended for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, or other consumption purposes.
• The issue is currently restricted to the red highlighted area and is not expected to spread to other areas of the community.
• Residents in the blue highlighted area will continue to experience low water pressure.
• Affected residents may fill buckets for non-potable water use at a fill station located at the Community Conference Centre (Teck Hall).
• Public showers will be available at the Aquatic Centre beginning at 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 17, 2026.
• The water service outage is currently expected to continue until the evening of Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at minimum.
• Updates will be provided as additional information becomes available.
• Resident compliance with water conservation measures has been greatly appreciated and has helped preserve the remaining water supply.
