*NEW* WINTER 2026: OPEN DANCE FOR YOUTH + ADULTS
Get ready to move, groove and express yourself through dance! This choreography-based program welcomes participants at all levels of experience, including dancers trying class for the first time. Each week, you’ll explore a different style including jazz, tap, ballet, musical theatre and more, then learn a choreographed routine set to music.
Classes begin with a warm-up and an introduction to the week’s featured style, where dancers break down basic techniques, explore signature movements and learn style terminology. Artistry, musicality and athleticism are blended into each session, encouraging confidence and self-expression through movement.
Instructor Clara MacLeod brings a diverse background in dance, music, theatre, choreography and group fitness. She is a graduate of the St. Clair College Music Theatre Performance program, holds a Bachelor of Performing Arts via Douglas College and Capilano University and recently completed her Education degree at the UBC.
