Wildfire Risk-Reduction Efforts Resuming🔥
The District of Elkford’s fuel management project in the Dawson Place area is resuming as part of our ongoing FireSmartTM and wildfire risk-reduction efforts.
Residents may notice crews working in and around the treatment areas as work continues towards reducing wildfire risk and improving community resiliency. Activites will include wood chipping, debris management, and the burning of approved burn piles when conditions and venting permits allow. These treatments help reduce hazardous fuel loads and support wildfire preparedness efforts throughout the community.
For everyone’s safety, please stay clear of active work zones and follow all posted signage.
