Volunteer Opportunity: Youth Councillors (Senior and Junior)

 

Are you passionate about community involvement? Eager to represent your peers on municipal council?

The District of Elkford is looking for two enthusiastic and self-motivated youth representatives to attend meetings and events and provide a voice for the youth of our community.

Requirements for Junior Youth Councillor:

  • Be a resident of Elkford
  • Be a grade nine or 10 student enrolled at Elkford Secondary School
  • Be willing to attend council meetings and District events and regional events and meetings as requested

Requirements for Senior Youth Councillor:

  • Be a resident of Elkford
  • Be a grade 11 or 12 student enrolled at Elkford Secondary School
  • Be willing to attend council meetings and District events and regional events and meetings as requested

Submit your resume and cover letter by September 30, 2023, at 4:30 p.m. (local time) to Corporate Services at info@elkford.ca or in-person by visiting 744 Fording Drive.
