Mayor's Musings for December 2023

Happy Holidays, Elkfordians! It's the most wonderful time of the year out here; and this December, I hope you have an opportunity to spend time with those you love and enjoy the splendor of the winter season. Dust off your skis, snowboards, snowshoes, winter running gear and fat bikes. Get your ski passes and trail passes. Tune up the sleds, put a leash on the dog and bring the whole family out for an adventure.

As your mayor, I want to thank you all for your efforts in 2023. I’m proud of the successes we collectively achieved this year— “collectively” meaning council and staff at the District of Elkford and all the residents, non-profits, volunteers, businesses and organizations that make up our community (that’s you!)—and it makes me excited for the year to come. We’ll do great things together in 2024, I know we will.
