2024 Christmas Truck Parade & Tree Light-Up
Watch as the convoy of Christmas-themed vehicles make their way from the staging area (Alpine Way and Balmer Drive) through town, then gather your friends and family at Elkford’s Meeting Place (the gazebo between 744 and 750 Fording Drive), where the parade ends, to watch the Christmas tree light-up while enjoying free hot chocolate, s’mores and a bonfire! Bring your own roasting sticks. Pets must be kept leashed, but everyone is welcome!

- Truck Parade: Starts at 6 p.m.
- Tree Light-up: Starts at 7 p.m.
- LOCATIONS:
- Truck Parade: The parade route begins at the staging area (Alpine Way, south of Balmer Drive), goes through town, and ends at Elkford's Meeting Place (parade route map below)
- Tree Light-up: At Elkford's Meeting Place (the gazebo between 744 and 750 Fording Drive)
- COST: Free!
To register your vehicle(s) for the truck parade, email events@elkford.ca or call 250.865.4010. The deadline to register is November 29, 2024. Note that other vehicles, not just trucks, can participate in this parade!

P.S. Elkford Fire and Emergency Services is still taking Santa Claus for his annual tour of town on the firetruck, scheduled for closer to Christmas, and they will collect donations for the food bank at that time. Watch for more info about the 2024 Santa Route event soon!
