Public Works Department

Hours of Operation:  Monday to Friday,  7:00 am – 3:30 pm
Winter Maintenance Hours:  November to March
Monday to Friday 5:00 am – 3:30 pm 
Saturday to Sunday 5:00 am – 1:00 pm

The Public Works Department located at #8 Inkaneep Road in the Industrial Park provides the following services: maintenance of streets and roads, street lighting, provision of water and sewer services, and removal of solid waste.

The District fleet includes loaders, plough trucks, pickups, backhoe, snow blower, grader, street sweeper, and an automated garbage packer.

All Public Works buildings have been converted to energy efficient lighting. Christmas decorations are being converted to LED technology. District parking lots have had Intelligent Parking Lot Controllers installed.

Vandalism

In recent years, the stop signs within the municipality have been repeatedly vandalized and considerable time has been spent making the repairs. Please report any vandalism to the R.C.M.P.
